After a fairly long closure due to working away from home for many months (thanks COVID) we are opening again bit by bit, starting with sets and figs and then should be back with the full parts range soon.

Our store is now open again after 2 weeks away in the Florida sun.

Should be adding new stock over the next week once the jet lag has passed :)

Just a note to say the UK have a bank holiday on Monday so the post offices are shut. This may add 1 or 2 days onto our normal posting times as we can not post again until some time on Tuesday when they re-open.

To beat the Christmas rush, make sure you post before the recommended latest posting date.

We have finaly got around to sorting through a massive back log of used parts we have had in storage for the last couple of years!

Hope to continue adding these at competitive prices over the coming weeks.

It's that time of year again, UK Post Offices last dates as below for b4 Xmas Delivery:

Seems like Royal Mails online postage system has been down all day.

This has backed up things a little as we have not been able to buy online and drop off.

Hope to catch up in the morning if the system is up - or resort to a visit in person and buying stamps!  :)

Just got a 76023 The Tumbler set in, first one we have had of these!

The box is just... well... massive!  I should part it out but I really really want to keep this one and build it :)

Finaly got around to sourcing some Simpsons series 2 minifigs for the store, a whole sealed box of 60.

Should give the kids something to do, guessing which are which and opening those and bagging them up  :)

It's that time of year again where we need to consider posting dates for items required before xmas.

The post office's recommended post by dates for UK mail:

2nd class = 18th Dec

1st class = 20th Dec

Subject to the Royal Mails usual delays due to over-worked staff :)

Getting some spare time now to continue with our little Simpsons house project. Trying to make it to the scale of some plans and pictures I found online, rather than the official set dimensions.

So... Marge's Kitchen nears completion with a lot of parts sourced from Brickowl stores.

Well after quite a slow month for part sales we reached another milestone today - our 300th order!

Store is back open again after a very busy few days of moving house.

I have set the delivery dates up from our usual 1-2.

They are now at 2-5 days, as being a little disorganised still, it may take a bit longer to process bigger orders,

Just to update anyone who checks in here, we are now catching up on picking / packing orders placed on Sunday, all of which should be completed and in the post for Tuesday morning.

We are a bit behind due to taking the kids to Legoland Windsor on Sunday, great day but a very loooong very hot day :)

Some more stock in to cover a couple requests for parts and fill in some blanks in our stock levels. Just need to find the time to part them out now.

Sophie has now run off with the Space and angry Unikittys though for her personal collection :)

Finaly managed to get a copy of the new Blocks magazine to read. Some great articles and photography in there and worth checking out - but I guess you knew that anyway :)

Mark from Design 7 Bricks has started a forum thread for BrickOwl sellers and customers to show what they are building using the parts sourced on the site.

I think it's a great idea and will help make BrickOwl more of a community as well as a market place.

Just make something quick to display the Simpsons minifig's in they said, a few hours later we have room 1 of a modular Simpsons house with hinged wall for access :)

Based on some concepts and ideas from the official set and some things from images googled from the TV Show.

Some times we get a break from sorting, selling, packing and find time to build something, the Akira bike being our current on-going project. It's getting closer to completion now, maybe time to search BrickOwl for those last elusive and expensive parts.

Back again from working away and more sorting and listing to be done :)
